My Love for Cats

If you haven't already noticed, I kind of have a thing for cats. Even though I am allergic to cats. I've always been fascinated with the majestic wild big cats that are the kings and queens of the jungle and safari. Cats are some of the fiercest and most incredible creatures on the planet. The fierce lion rules all of Africa with its pride, while the speedy cheetah sprints at speeds of up to 120 km/h. The tiger in all its glory's roar can be heard from 2 miles (3 km) away, and the jaguar is the largest cat in South America.

Before I show you some pictures of these adorable creatures, I may as well tell you the back story behind my love for cats. I believe this all started by watching Animal Planet and National Geographic. I became so interested in these big cats that I took every opportunity in school to learn about them. I got books out of the library, completed school projects about them, and I even searched the internet to learn more about them. I then for Christmas got a cat beanie, which I wear as much as possible. That hat really launched my fetish with these mighty beasts. They are just so fascinating!

Not only are the wild big cats majestic and fascinating, they are beyond adorable.
Aww! This is so adorably funny.
So cute!
Okay, stop. This is too cute.
AWWWWWWWW STOP I CAN"T EVEN!

Now although these cats may seem like the most adorable thing you have ever seen, they are not pets. These creatures are wild animals that are not tamed and should not be kept as pets. They belong in the wild where they continue to be adorable without hurting anyone.

Now I repeat, these animals are beyond dangerous. If they wanted, they could easily eat a human. Do not keep these animals as pets. Not only will it endanger your life, it's not fair to the cat who was bred to roam in an endless environment to be cooped up in a small little area as a pet. Enjoy the mysterious wonders that are big cats from a distance.

If you are dead set on getting a cat, don't despair! The second half of my love for cats comes from cats you can keep as pets.

For some reason, I have always wanted a British short hair cat. They just seem so fluffy and adorable! This is my life goal right here. To get a British short hair cat. Only then will I feel accomplished.

I also really want a tabby cat. I just really like their stripes. I also like the white booties this cat has. I like the gray tabby cats, but I also think the orange ones are just as adorable and I would love one just as much. Once again, this is another life goal. I really need to work on my priorities.
Oh, and I really like tuxedo cats. They look so regal. This one is clearly the ruler of the couch. Don't mess with this cat's couch.

So that right there is my cat fetish. Basically I am in love with cats. Except scooping the cat litter. I HATE scooping the cat litter. But if I have an adorable cat, then it's totally worth it. To be honest, I really don't care what kind of cat I have. I would rather rescue a cat from a shelter instead of going to a breeder. If you are thinking of getting a cat, rescue one! There are plenty of cats out there that need a home. Save a cat!

From my cat-loving corner to yours,
