Band-Aids Don't Fix Bullet Holes. Now That's Just Common Sense

I have just been slayed.

Yesterday, at the Billboard awards, Taylor Swift released her latest music video for "Bad Blood" and it is amazing. Like better than words. Like I am freaking out. As soon as I saw it, I died. I fell on the floor and died. Really this is the ghost of Jennifer writing this.

Anyway, Taylor really pulled out all the stops for this video. Everyone and their mother was in it (Selena Gomez, Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, Kendrick Lamar, and Cara Delvingne, just to name a few). There's even an ode to her cats in the video! The actresses that play Olivia Benson in Law and Order and Meredith Grey in Grey's Anatomy starred in the video as well. Since Taylor named her cats off of those two characters it seems fitting that they are a part of Taylor's army.

The video was action-packed and featured Taylor Swift kicking major butt. In the beginning of the video, Arsyn (Selena Gomez) and Catastrophe (Taylor)  are working together and kicking butt. Then, Arsyn betrays Catastrophe by pushing her out a window. Ouch.

What does Catastrophe do, you might ask? Build an elite team of the best warriors around to get revenge on Arson. Because, as you may or may not know, there is nothing Taylor does better than revenge.  (That was a reference for the Swifties out there).

Did Catastrophe get her revenge? Who knows. The video ends with Cat's fierce army walking to face off Arsyn and her army. There are explosions in the background because every music video needs explosions. Duh!

No but seriously. I had to watch it like ten times to take in everything. Even now I'm still dying about how amazing it was. If you haven't seen it, watch it. Just prepare for Taylor to slay you so hard you're not going to be able to move. You'll just lie there wondering how you ever lived without it.

While you're at it, buy the song, which features Kendrick Lamar. And if you haven't buy 1989. It will change your life for the better.

If all of a sudden you become obsessed with her, understand that you're not alone. Many people have fallen prey to Taylor's amazing talent and generosity. Good thing there's Swiftamine for that.

  1. I don't think there will be a time where Taylor doesn't slay the world.
The video was absolutely amazing, and Hayley Williams as Crimson Curse-- perfection.

    1. I know right? I love how if you look at the posters leading up to the video, everything is in black and white, except Hayley Williams's hair. Taylor also looks pretty good as a red-head.

I am always interested in other people's opinions, so leave your comments below! I try really hard to reply to every comment left for me so don't be afraid to let your thoughts run wild!

I just ask that you are kind and respectful and refrain from using harsh and cruel language. If you don't have something nice to say, you aren't thinking hard enough.

Thanks!
